ATTENTION: Detroit 5th Gen Camaro Club (BBOMG/Oshawa)

I'm sure Derrick will want to discuss this at one of our next meetings, but it's stuck in my head.


Who from D5GCC is heading to Oshawa? When are You Leaving? Staying All Weekend? At the Host Hotel? Attending the 300 Person Banquet?

I plan on heading up thursday morning/afternoon to be there by thursday night.... Festivities and OCC check-in start early friday from what i have been hearing.

It'd be AWESOME if we could get some kind of camarovan of our cars heading to Oshawa. My plan was to cross at the Detroit Bridge unless someone has a better idea.... lets plan this out as a club! here is my check list so far...

A few of us had a minor discussion @ the April meeting, but obviously not a "topic" of discussion. We can definitely put it on the table @ the next meeting. I would love to attend, but it's my birthday weekend and we leave for Vegas the following week. So that might be a tough sell to the Wife!! Butter her up for me @ the next meeting meb885!

It's Mike's birthday on the 9th and he picked to celebrate in Oshawa so you should go and celebrate with us all!! Perfect place for Camaro lovers to celebrate their birthdays!!

We booked our hotel, tour and banquet. We are leaving Thurs. mid-day.

We are going. I can't wait! Right now my plan is to leave really early Friday morning (like 5ish) and going by way of Port Huron/Sarnia. We are staying at the host hotel and are all set with tour and banquet reservations. We are leaving on Sunday morning and hope to be able to hit the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto on the way back.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone there!

We plan to leave mid-afternoon (1:30/2ish) on Thursday if anyone wants to Camarovan with us. We will be going via the Blue Water Bridge in Port Huron. We live in Macomb, MI. I know a lot of people are leaving in the morning or the evening but our son's 5th Grade graduation is that morn at 10:30 so we can't leave until after that. Let us know via post or PM if anyone's interested!

that timing could work for me, and it seems crossing in PH/Sarnia cute about 20 min off my trip, which is interesting since i live closer to the detroit border crossing. Leaving 2PM would put us in Oshawa at about 7/730PM + any rest stops and/or food, etc.... i know some will be traveling with kids, Not I but gotta be courteous of the ones who are.

Anyone else like this timing and Border Crossing Location, any other suggestions, id LOVE to have a LINE of camaros crossing the border together, then camarovanning down the 401.... might get us thru quicker, and in style!

Thanks Mike! You guys are so cool and it would be fun to Camarovan together. I admit it is REALLY tempting! I'm kind of iffy about taking that extra day off work though and still need to check to see if I can get the extra day at the hotel. I'll talk it over with the crew here and get back to you.

I believe the plant tour is early Friday morning so this way we will already be there and all set fir Friday morning!!
