Will Chevy run 20% off MSRP again?

I might be upgrading to a 14 or 15 2SS if I can find the right deal. I found 2 2014 2SS's around right under 30k but the problem is they do not qualify for the 72 mo 0% apr deal. Some dealers are running 15% off on 15 models but I feel like prices might be going down more within the next month.

I was curious to see if anyone thinks that chevy will run 20% off with 72 mo 0% apr or something like that in the near future. I am hoping find a new 2SS at 30k with 0% financing.

The 6th gens will hit the lots soon so better deals are coming for sure. Don't know if you'll be able to get rock bottom pricing and 0% financing but I'm seeing 1.99% at my credit union for new cars so that's not bad. Good luck

Yes, in about 18 days we'll see this 20% off again.

Typically speaking, GM normally does not allow a buyer to do both, a % off and 0% apr. In the past when discounting previous models, GM makes the buyer choose between the two. Imo, if you're holding out for a heavy discount and 0%, you're going to be disappointed.

GM has only done this once, it isn't a annual offer. But you may catch assorted dealer networks offer something close to unload their inventory.

This is basicly what I found here in the NE. The dealer I went to worked a price that was just a little more then GM Vendor price, and then I was able to get the 0% for 72 months. They did this twice with my 2015 Camaros and are already offering me the same on the 2016 that I ordered.

"or something like that" - yep, they have one right now and will have another one similar before January 1st. Don't hold your breath using both, it's either or with GM. You do understand that financing through the manufacture is generally bad yes ?

Current rates are basically 1% (new) and 2% (refi) and usually only available through credit unions.

For those actually borrowing money, yes I would generally agree.

Since I can invest $PRICE and easily obtain after tax returns better than 2%, I'll take 6 year financing all day long and twice on Sundays.

I am 24 so my main concern is to keep the monthly payments low for now.

I am also very happy with my car so I would not mind keeping it if I can't find the right deal. 30-31k with 0% apr for 72 months would keep my monthly payments same as my v6.

I never thought that I would ever consider buying a new car but if the price is right the v8 would be something that I can DD for 2-3 years and maybe turn it to a TT beast when I can afford to get second car.

Just bought a 15 SS with the RS package for 28,600 last week. It was listed on their site for 29,990 with a sticker price of 38,700. What I did was get financing from my CU and they gave me a check. I went into the dealer as if I were a cash buyer and was really aggressive on the numbers. I walked out after they offered me a very low trade in value. I called back the next day and bumped my number up by 3k to take in account for my neg equity and they also bumped up my trade in 3k.

Congrats! That is a really good deal. I will see if I can find a CU that will do 72 months under 2%. I know that I want a 2SS since I would not want to give up any options that I have in my 2LT. I am looking to get 19k for my trade, that might be a deal breaker too but I got a cash offer from Carmax for 18.5 so I don't think it is unreasonable to ask for that for trade-in value.
