Is there anyway of starting your Camaro with just the key and not remote start?

My car didn't come with remote start, no wonder I am having issues. I guess I need to go to the dealership!

As long as you have fuel in the car and a charged battery, you should be able to start the car with a key. At least I think that is what the key is for?

I would suggest you put the key in the ignition and then turn it forward. If it starts, then yes you can use the key to start the car.

are you referring to that possibly you do not have the remote start feature? no, there isnt. you need the 'internals' for the remote start (or app) to start your car.

I don't think so.

But I wanted to say, I have a license plate frame from Lake Chevy in Lake Elsinore, CA on my Camaro.

Yes, but you have to get under the hood to do it. Either that, or read your owners manual.

Keys are soooo 20th century. Why would you want to use one?

I only start my car with a retina scanner and hand gestures.

You have to kick the tire before you get in it. Then the key should work.

It will only start with a key after you've had the key recall completed

They let you keep the old plate? Before I moved to NC 8 years ago they were trying to force me to give up my green plate. I had the same plate from 87-2007
