The only person you need approval from is yourself. Enjoy it. When someone hassles you about it being a V6, ask them what kind of Camaro they drive.

So where is your data to support this claim? Does that mean my Richard is even smaller because I own a ZL1? That would then mean that yours is smaller than the guy driving a Cruze or a Civic. After all, owning a 300+ hp Camaro has be do to your lack of endowment when a 180hp four cylinder would do just fine.
OP, enjoy your new hot rod. Any camaro is cool. MERRY CHRISTMAS! |

When I see another 5th gen on the road I could care less what engine it has. I'm
looking at how clean it is, how nice it looks, etc. I ordered my SS with every option available because I could....... OP: Love your color, interior and sunroof. Drive your Camaro and enjoy.

I wouldn't be ashamed at all. That is a nice looking Camaro you have and even the V6 models have plenty of power. I'd enjoy it and be happy you have a Camaro. Lots of people can't get these cars.

Enjoy what you bought and the reason behind it, doesn't matter if it's a V6 or V8 or a turbo4 for the new gen. Don't ask a forum if you made the right decision, the question you need to ask is did you make the right decision and only you can answer that. The egos around here you need to take with a grain of salt because it's funny to read all the V6 vs V8 or auto vs manual threads. Some V6s can dust the V8s but that's a different story. Enjoy the car to the fullest and have fun customizing it to your liking and you will be washing it more often lol.

That is a beautiful car, why on Earth would you be ashamed of it. Even if the V6 had no guts that's still a cool car. But the V6 has great power and handling to back up the looks. Sure some people will ask why you didn't get a V8, but those people usually drive econoboxes, minivans, or wannabe SUVs. I'd rather have a V6 Camaro than 90% of the cars on the road. Even a lot of people here judge the V6s harshly for some reason, but don't forget most people have pretty boring cars compared to yours.

Be proud you own a beautiful nice new car that is loaded with modern high trim features. I'm not ashamed of my v6. Actually I love it. These high feature DI VVT V6 engines are very much improved over the older V6 engines.
