Your opinion on year end sales ?
Been staring at going from 1le to Zl1 for awhile it sure seems these suckers are holding value even more than the grandsport ! Think any year end sales will happen ?

TRUE year end discounts only occur when the volume exceeds demand.

Even when the ZL1 was brand new to the scene, I was finding heavy discounts at several dealerships across the country. I saw as much as 10k off at a couple places if you met all their requirements. Of course, some of the requirements were rediculous.

It depends where you live and how far out you want go. I'm in New England and there are none up here compared to Warmer climate areas. I paid $3000 below sticker with all incentives and felt like for my region that was a good deal. I'm sure I could have saved a few thousand if I went south, but by the time I got it home, there would not have been enough savings to make it worth my time and wait. I also was lucky enough to get one exactly how I wanted it in stock

It’s close to that time of year, we will probably see some discounts on any 17’s. It’s nice to see the # of available ZL1’s at dealers increasing but still don’t see many at the local Chicago area dealers. Plan to take a beating if trading the 1LE. But if you have the $’s and desire, go for it! If u can hold off another year, the redesigned 19 maybe more desirable to you or discount the 17/18’s even more favorable.

Trading is convenant and can save on sales tax but Dealers get to play more with the numbers when you add a trade. No trade and paying cash and you know exactly what you paid for the car. Add a trade, payoff of it if any, new car price, discounts and finances, etc and the dealer is in a better position to confuse some folks. I’ve traded many times and learned from it, I would still do it, just have to know all the numbers to make the right decision. There is a local used 1LE for $38800, if they sell it at $37000, they had to make a profit. So is he willing to take $35k for his 1LE? Just tossing rough numbers.
