Overpriced car, is that the S or the R...think the R is the V8 supercharged, SS will hand the S is butt.

this car has really helped out Jaguar but they should release something closer to the car from Cruel Intentions (which I now consider the AMG GT as the modern day version).
regardless this is a Camaro forum... .

https://www.edmunds.com/jaguar/f-typ...-f-type-s.html The R has a supercharged, 550-horsepower V8 while the S has to make due with just 380 horsepower from a supercharged V6. So what does the V8 R provide that the F-Type S doesn't, and what's the cost? The F-Type S has an MSRP of $77,925 while the Coupe R will cost you $99,925. Besides being quicker (3.8-seconds to 60 and a quarter-mile time of 11.6 seconds @ 122.2 mph vs. 5.0 to 60 and a quarter-mile time of 13.1 seconds @ 107.9 mph in the S), the F-Type R has larger standard brakes, bigger wheels, an active exhaust, a torque vectoring differential, rear parking sensors, power-folding heated mirrors, leather upholstery, a flat-bottom steering wheel, heated 12-way power seats, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control and a 12-speaker stereo with satellite radio. |

Yeah that R will be well over $100k once you load it up...crazy how the SS will run with that and the Z
L1 will eat it for lunch, both for much much less...awesome job Chevy!

F-type weighs more than the specs indicate. No one has been able to match their claimed measurements.
That being said, it does look and sound great. |

Love the F Types, but not really a direct competitor to the Camaro. The price point difference puts it in a totally different market, but a beautiful car for sure!!

I don't think I'm a straight line the Zl1 would beat it prob a tie the exhaust though is what the Zl1 should sound like it's a meaner Shelby sound w so many crackles
