DOOR MOLDING TO HIDE DINGS!!??

I had several dings on my '13 RS's doors repaired recently and it came out great. The problem now is the touch up paint I applied when the dings occurred over the years.

Most of the dings scratched off the paint when the careless persons threw open their doors! The spots are noticeable as there is really no way to perfectly touch up the damaged spots.(Crystal Red Tintcoat). All the dings are at the crease line just below the door handles.

Lately, I have thought about applying door molding trim pieces to each door. They are out there but according to the pictures, the molding is positioned below the crease line which would not even cover up the touch up paint spots.

Any way to find molding trim which can be placed right on the crease line? Please Help!

Camaro are not supposed to have side trim. Anything other than a proper
repair will look like crap anyway imo. Just leave it be or get it to a body shop.
Sounds like you and or your passengers are a little rough on your car.

I beg to differ. This was my old Camaro. They looked and worked so well I put them on my new Camaro. They are painted with factory coded paint to match your car. And are almost invisable from 10' away.

This is a 5th Gen. just sayin. The wife came home from work one day on my 45th with a ding that took a pinky-sized chip with it. I went apoplectic and bought them. So subtle I want to Tweet it ala Trump!

Properly done it can look good...to each his own. All my cars have the black door edging. Keeps me fron dinging my own doors in the garage
And just in case the wind might catch the door and tag another car.
