I all most bought a 2011 Mustang but one keep from it. I am retired from GM. There a mustang parted at home depot that I like very much. I guess the owner works there.

I think the final factor for me not considering a mustang or challenger was the crappy interior they gave it. It was soooooooooooo boring inside. GM gave the Camaro such an authentic interior that is so modern and retro looking that it kills the Mustang and Challenger interiors. Camaro was absolutely beautiful inside and out, unlike the competition....plus it had the muscle under the hood to back it up. I think that's why we all fell in love with the Camaro.
But no, I personally don't hate Mustangs or Challengers. Instead, I admire any muscle car I see on the road. I think they all have beautiful exteriors. |

Dont get me wrong either . I think this era we are going through right now is AWESOME, Camaro Challenger and Mustangs all trying to out-do each other. Throw in the eastern cars and the winner is all of us. Better cars every single year. Look what they have done with the Camaro in 3 short years. Nothing is better a born Detroiter to see them going at each other like this, I respect all 3 cars , Just seams to me Mustang guy is rude alot of the time, I knew this kid with a V-6 sayng he could out run a gal who owned a SS , I just laughed at him . (ps his car was all stock) so was hers. He had no clue a respect for fellow muscle car owners

I don't hate the car but I do hate the way that most of their owners act. I'm sure they feel the same way about Camaro owners. Personally I think that the Camaro crowd is just more mature.

The only Mustang I really like and plan to own one day is the 03-04 Terminator. I just love that car lol. I can respect a GT500 and Boss though and whenever I see one I do think "badass."

I don't hate any cars....except Toyota, Hyundai, and Kia.

I'm definitely not a Mustang fan, but I don't really see how somebody can LOVE the Camaro and absolutely despise the Mustang. I worked for Ford for a while, and my best buddy is the finance manager at one of Memphis' biggest Ford dealers, so if I wanted one, I could have bought a brand new one for as cheap as it gets. Yet I still drove across the street to buy a Camaro. I'd probably never own a Mustang, but I can't say I hate them. And you have to respect what they've done for the sports car community, I guess. Just my two cents worth...

I liked the retro model when it first came out but then it got old and I didn't like the taillights. Now the new model has better looking taillights and I would think about it if it wasn't for the Camaro or Challenger.

As far as the latest Mustang model goes, I like the pose and the front. Not a fan of the rear.

I like the Boss and Shelby line. The GT500's are okay too. But IMO, the standard Challenger is better looking than a standard Mustang. Ours whoops them all IMO.

Though looks are subjective, the Camaro is definitely the winner in that department as proven by the public.
No doubt. |
