Escort Max 360 down to $549
I just bought this a week ago at $619, and just beforehand it was $649. Noticed Amazon and Best Buy were both selling it at $549 today, so it's a real deal on a great radar detector. Makes me wonder if Escort is blowing out stock to make room for a new model. The Redline model just recently got upgraded. And thankfully Best Buy did a price adjustment so I got back $75 today (including tax).

Most likely because the new Uniden is $399 and from what I've read outperforms everything.

Yes the Uniden R3 blows the Max series out of the water on range and also has a much superior bsm filter. I own a Max II so I'm not putting anything down but I am waiting for my Uniden R3. However the Max 360 is a very good detector and if you want arrows which the Uniden doesn't have it's either the Max 360 or the Valentine which is also an excellent radar detector. Also the Max 360 has auto lockouts and on the Uniden they are manual. But for only 399.00 the Uniden R3 is the best deal going imo. The new Uniden radar detectors dethroned the long range king the original Redline. Also the new Redline EX doesn't have quite the range of the original Redline but it is good and it also now has gps. Everybody has their own needs and wants when it comes to radar detectors, just don't trust any cheap ones if you don't want a ticket.
