2014 with 13,000 miles seat issue

I weigh 140lbs and my driver's seat already has a permanent dimple in it. Would Chevrolet do anything if I complain to my dealer? Thanks !

I can already see a claim of 'normal wear and tear'

But it's worth a shot, right?

Live with it imo. Even if its covered by warranty. Repairs will be more trouble and
aggravation than its worth. You will have to leave the car at your GM dealer who
will ship it off to a trim (upholstery) shop who will goof with the car for a few days
and remove the seat and take it apart and stretch the material out and one of the
workers will take it for a couple burn outs during lunch, etc, etc.
If you do decide to get it repaired for free, make sure you check to see how many
extra miles were added plus dents, scratches, etc, etc. Life's too short, again imo.

please excuse the run on sentences.

I suspect there would need to be a measurable failure, i.e. a seam tear, for any warranty work to be approved. In the past I could not even get them to consider warranty for the leather finish cracking.

If you kneel on the seat with one knee it will do that.

Wanna bet that the detailer works the leather vs. a replacement seat or cover? (Sorry, my cynicism is showing today)

I'm glad to see someone as touchy as I am when it comes to my Camaro. Also glad to see your dealer will take care of you. And do as someone mentioned and check mileage. There was a video moving around the car forums of some guys thrashing a beautiful sports car that was being delivered to a dealer but fortunately they were too dumb to turn off the cam. I hate leaving my car with anybody. I just found the video: http://jalopnik.com/tow-truck-driver...for-1788281588
