Washing The White Camaro since October 2009
I just estimated that I have washed my Camaro 4 times a week for 8 years for a total of approx. 1600 washes at my local car wash at an average of Between $6 and $12 per wash. or somewhere around $10,000 (or more). I hand wax once a year with Meguiar's "white wax". I do drive my Camaro year around. I do live next to a carwash so that makes it much easier.

soft touch? touchless? Ever do a paint correction in all those years? Looks pretty good from here.

No brushes ever. I have a soft hand mitt only.

I added Goodyear all season two years ago and I really do not have any weather problems unless we get a ridiculous snow storm (late storm last winter 36 inch plus) When its like that I just stay in till they clear the roads. Just be careful.

I'd invest in a power washer if I were you..

I have washed mine 3 times in 2 years. Mostly I just use a duster to get off the dust and Adam's detail spray to touch up bugs and whatnot. But I do not drive it year round, it's in a garage and I don't drive it anytime it may rain.

It's very rewarding to wash my white 2010. During the 6 months that it's active here in the land of salt and sand, I wash it 2 to 4 times a month. It all depends on whether I drive it in the rain between cruise nights.
4 times a week? Seriously, that sounds a bit nutty. Maybe use a mop to dust it between washes and save some water. Not sure you're serious with 4 times a week. |

Looks great! I personally wash all of my cars by hand. A jug of car wash will cost me around $6 and last pretty much half of the year... Just something to note.. $10k is a lot of cash on water and soap...

Great looking car. The 6th gen wheels along with the heritage grille and lowered stance really makes it.
