LT4 Supercharger for LT1 Setup

Does anyone know what is involved to adapt the LT4 supercharger for an LT1?

I pulled the supercharger setup off my 2018 ZL1, and I have everything from the supercharger, intake, throttle body, boost bypass, lt4 valley cover, pulleys, idler, belt, damper, supercharger coolant pump, ZL1 heat exchanger, lines, and brackets. Everything is basically like new as it came off with only 1,200 miles on the car.

I have a friend interested in putting this on his LT1 6th gen Camaro, and we're trying to figure out what we might be missing.

Anyone know what else might be needed for an LT4 to LT1 conversion?

I just noticed that the "install kit" is $3,450 WITHOUT the supercharger? That's crazy. If my buddy picks this up from me he's going to get a screaming deal.

Hey guys, I'm getting a lot of interest in these parts, so could I get some feedback on what a fair price would be for all these items? I appreciate it.

I would use an after market install directions like eforce's they are good You will see how the pump needs to be wired in and some difference of the LT1 vs LT4 it should close just a matter of a different head unit and idle pulley locations possibly.. it will be very similar and you may need that harness that connects the MAF to Map sensor. If it was me Id buy there bigger dual pass exchanger to or someones.

I don't think you should use the lt4 hub, I think you should use the ATI balance and blower ring and figure out the boost that way its 9.4 or something on a LT4 where all the other after market kits are 6 to 7 psi that are on LT1s that a lot easier than changing the lt4 blowers pulley unless some one is willing to help with that size (cough Cough ANDY)

For sure you will need the adapter plates between LT1 heads and the blower since LT1 heads do not have the holes for the blower. Maybe ADM will sell also I saw some on ebay to for this swap.

I was going to do the opposite i was going to still wifes blower 2.3 and give her my 1.7 since she doesn't have the fuel or compression to take advantage of the larger blower lol.

Wouldn't you add an intercooler heat exchanger tank like the fender prospeed ?

Did you say you took that blower off a ZL1 or a Z06? It looks like a Z06 blower because the upper pulley is shorter. The Camaro snout is longer.

A reservoir and the quick disconnects for the blowers intercooler feed and return would be ideal.. like the maggi or dodge reservoir from Edelbrock. The 4 zip ties that go on the 4 studded lid bolts for wire harness to make clean.

Factory blower coolant lines w disconnects
Gates 19839 premolded heater hose
Gates 28479 premolded heater hose
2 5/8 to 3/4 coupler heater hose barb. coupler
2 24mm constant tension spring hose clamps
6 26mm constant tension spring hose clamps
Edelbrock reservoir*or magnuson
Coolant cap C6 vette for maggi dealer or Orileys

The DSX wire harness that combines maf w the map..mostly like the lt4 map been taken out..

That's all I can think of..

If your trying to do it as affordable as possible follow the directions from an aftermarket blower company.. most of the parts are GM.

As far the PCV parts cut and reuse fittings or if you need pliable material use hose and PCV quick disconnect fittings.
