Mail order tuner ?
Hey guys . Idk if this has been discussed before and if it has , I apologize in advance . As I live in ak we only have one dyno in the state , and it’s in the next town over . I’m wondering if y’all are going off of dyno tune only ? Or do some of you guys have mail order tunes ? If so who do you guys recommend ? I’ve been dealing with black bear in the past but that only for trucks as I’ve been out of the muscle car game for a bit .. like to try someone new this time around if I can

There are several good vendors on here that take the time to do a mail order tune properly. Pick one of those and you'll be good!

I just used Justin from Blackbear on my daughters Camaro since I already own an Autocal. Local dyno guy wanted $800 to tune a cam and gear change.

What do you plan on using to tune the car? If HP Tuners, I've been happy with Patrick Guerra.

Justin tuned my truck aswell and did a good job ,I was impressed on how it woke up my truck and especially after the cam swap and other mods that I have done . Problem with black bear though ,is communication is pretty difficult as you can only talk to Justin thru emails, and I feel with the Z and mods that I’m planning on doing I’m gonna need someone alittle more available per say . |

No, longblock is stock. Only upgrade is trunion kit. Stock cam, heads, blower internally. Mods not listed are an 90mm tb and 5 inch intake. So bolt ons, e85, boost and a spot on tune will get you some really good numbers through a six speed. This car runs dead nuts with my buddies more heavily modded cts-v that is an auto. He has similar mods plus a cam and 2 inch longtubes vs my 1-7/8 |
