Floor Mat Question

Since the LS did not come with floor mats, I've been shopping around looking for some. Everywhere I look on this site, however, everybody presses Lloyd Mats. Who has them, and how do they stand up even through weather? Also, in comparison, who has a set of these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2010-...c8ed9de√

Those seem like a better deal than what I'm seeing for Lloyd Mats for a set of four, and I'm contemplating getting them. Any reviews or comparisons for both?

My SS came with front mats. Didn't want them to get worn so I put a set of Lloyds Camaro SS mats over them- Looks good ! Hum- Can't let them get dirty so I went out and purchased a cheap set of throw aways on top. Nuts or what ?

That's a lot of floor mats!

I suppose that's good if you have a heavy foot...

I have the Lloyds they are really nice and fit better than the factrory mats. I also have the truck mat. What nice is they can be embroided. A little pricey but worth it IMO.

Those are the mats I have, except with the IO writing instead of silver. They're just fine and I only paid $108 for them.

My car is a recreational driver, so the mats will never really get dirty.

Wow, my LLOYD mats that I ordered from USSpeed.com even had warning labels on them not to double stack any kind of floor mats. I sure hope you've been safe driving myold88.

To the original poster, try out USSpeed.com, you can customize your mats to your liking and even get them trimmed in the color of your car...or whatever color you choose. Many more options than the ones you found on eBay.

For winter, I plan on getting a set of WeatherTech Floor Liners to use instead of my nice LLOYD mats from USSpeed.

I can just see another Lexus incident with the gas pedal being held to the floor in the making on this one. I would take out the originals if I was you and only have one set at a time in there.

I like the Weathertech 'digital fit' - great for containing the debris. In the summer, I just use the factory mats.

The ones on eBay look like my GM mats that I like a lot. They have held up really well. Got my GM parts from the parts department at my dealer. They gave me a discount because I bought the car there and no shipping charges.

I have the Lloyds mats I only wish they had a heel guard. I have also placed a clear mat over the drivers side for added protection. I do like the look, and they fit well.

I do watch that they don't move foward on my side. doesn't matter on the passenger side. Some people have gotten killed from a jammed gas pedal from a loose mat.

That's what I was mainly concerned about...as long as your careful and aware of it, you'll be OK.

All the best to you.
