Chin Track Day March 6th

Below are some pics of my car at Eagles Canyon Raceway on March 6th. In a few pics where you see a passenger; those are pics that were taken when I was doing the RED group checkout drive.

If you look closely at some of the cornering pics you can see how well the suspension is working. Most no doubt are aware of this, but the red box you see in the middle of the front bumper is a transponder to keep track of lap times. Eagles Canyon ALWAYS has their timing loop on.

Credit LIFE AT SPEED PHOTOGRAHPY for the pics (Chris).

Some great pics! Looks like a fun circuit.....can you share your thoughts on ECR?

I've been thinking about adding that track to my calendar this year, but it's a 14hr haul one way. I do 17hrs for VIR three times a year.....because it's VIR .....would make ECR work if it's worth it. What's your take on the track??

Thanks!

I run EAGLES CANYON ALOT and it is well worth the trip. They repaved it a couple of years ago and it is VERY smooth and fast. The back straight is a half a mile long and you can see speeds of 135-145 MPH.

It has ALOT of SAFE runoff area so if you get a bit too aggressive its no big deal usually. I actually prefer Eagles Canyon to both COTA and Motorsports Ranch Cresson which is also a great track (# 2 on my list on the 1.7 CCW).

The NORMAL running direction on ECR is CCW but at times they run CW. It has some nice elevation changes and the track FLOWS VERY WELL.
