I was 14 when I saw Star Wars with my Dad in 1977. A few years later I was driving a 74 Monte Carlo with a 400 small block with my dad one night. We were driving along the slough road out in the country when I said, "Want to hear the Millennium Falcon go into auto pilot?" And I reached up and cracked open both latches holding the sun roof down. There was that pleasant "whooshing" sound for a moment until pressure equalized.
I could sense a disturbance in the force when after a pregnant pause my dad mutters in the darkness, "There's something wrong with you boy." |
