Picked Up #3563 From Camino Real...SoCal

Well, yesterday was bittersweet. Said goodbye to my 2010 2SS (Da WHALE), and said HELLO to #3563, 2014 Stingray, Black/Black, 2LT/Z51 from Camino Real Chevrolet. Gotta say, MrsGunnyG made this one happen. WOW!!! CF Roof, Suede seat inserts, NPP!!! Sorry for the blurry pic...more to come later.

After being pushed back due to Z51 constraint, and not knowing when that would end, I paid above MSRP. But not much. It was a fair deal. Get the car now (Z51, CF Roof both on constraint) and pay a little extra. My wife said "screw it...just do it and get it over with." Thank you!

Thanks Stingray. You are a wealth of knowledge, and reading what you've said pushed me to go ahead and do it now. I would probably be waiting for quite awhile to get one without the roof. I'm not too fond of CF. This one doesn't have Nav or black wheels (which I wanted).

I think you did good. Given the uncertainty with z51, I would rather have z51 than nav. I had to drop exposed CF Roof. Dealer told me if I wait there might be a new constraint later. The z51 issue hit the next week. I figured I could order the roof later...

I would rather have Nav and no CF roof. LoL...I know, that's crazy but I'm not a huge fan of it. Does come with a 2nd roof. Might just switch to that. Can't add Nav at the dealer though, so I'm stuck there. Maybe some option will come later with a MyLink app or something.

Got challenged by a Nissan Silva. Poor kid wanted to "run" on the freeway. Said he wanted to check where his boost was at...told him it was in InfernoLSX's engine! He's got enough to swallow all of SoCal. And say he has a rocket motor in that thing, he'll get to brag he took down a C7. If I smash him...what do I get to say? I took down a POS Nissan Silva?...no thanks! Poor kid...

Nice ride Guns…I know the bittersweet feeling as I sold my 2010 SS over the summer right after I ordered the C7. Night an day difference between the two but I still miss the SS.
