Vararam intake - You can stick your hand through the front grill right into the mouth of the intake.
Outside air goes straight into the air filter at speed (when moving).

That is ceramic coated and insulated. The results speak for themselves.

I got a Vararam and to me that's closer to a "real cold air" as you can get, no ceramics no metals no scoops no pretty windows no WOW factors no bends no high IAT's no insulators. Just an after market cold air kit being offered. It's up and in. Just my .2 lol

I like you and enjoy your posts for the most part. I mean nothing at all by this, but .2 is twenty cents

Please keep educating me on the more advanced engine topics. I'm trying to work up the courage to trash my warranty!

i was always curious about this thing....heat rises. so one would assume heat coming off the radiator would just go right to this thing. correct me if im wrong.

It rocks the radiator back a bit when you install it.

The tube is ceramic coated inside and outside to help prevent heat soak

Ok. Heat soak is not that big of a deal. Looks to me like my carbon fiber fastlane beat everyone else even though the IAT was the same as CAI until 6000 RPM. The final power numbers are so close together you might as well buy the one that you think looks the coolest. I like the CF look. The CAI ones look really nice too. Pick your poison.
