REAL Cold Air Intake???

Does anyone know of a REAL cold air intake for the 2012 LS3? My definition of REAL is where the air intake is sucking in fresh air from outside of the engine bay. My 1987 Buick Grand National has a hose from the air filter case that goes down to a scoop mounted in the air dam just below the front parking light.
Thanking You In Advance, DragRacerX

Hmm, think there's the adm intake with a scoop you can add to the box...and I've seen a ram air hood/roto fab intake combo available...do those meet your definition of real?

If you look at most all CAI's, they have a heat shield that blocks hot engine heat from being ingested. If you look at the jannetty CAI shootout, the better CAI's are within a degree or two of ambient. That says those shields are doing a good job considering they were sitting on a dyno with a monster fan and still getting those IAT's.

This! Gets cold air to the filter without having it down in the fender

I don't know if they're still made anymore, but Fastlane's CAI puts the filter down behind the lower grill.

There is no cold air on a 90 degree day.
Cold Air Inductions cai is insulated and pulls air from outside the engine compartment.

CAI cold air induction is the best. I put down 383 to the wheels with just that mod and no tune. There are plenty of tests out there that say so and verify that the intake charge is cooler than the average cold air intake.

Your going to get some measure of heat soak no matter what intake you use unless you make a ram air intake like those on the old TransAm. Actually, that would be pretty cool. CAI intake tubes are ceramic coated if I am not mistaken, which will help with heat soak.
