REV MATCH?

Hi;

I recently bought my Stingray (manual). The salesman tried to explain the "REV MATCH" function this car has but, I didn't get it

. Can anyone elaborate on this?

simple, when you want to downshift pull rev match paddle and gear indicator will change to brown. Computer senses which gear you're selecting and raise engine speed for perfectly smooth shift. Use mainly when downshifting into a corner
