correct, and even purchasing a ZL1 and talking "down" to her SS would not work. Because then she would point out the money she saved on the SS for the "same" car. That her car is better due to ROI. For people with this type of issue, there is never a 'winning' argument, as facts are irrelevant.

What I love about my 2LS Camaro that, in many ways, it is the same car as the SS. I'd rather have the "entry" level of a car who's platform is designed around performance, than the "performance" version of a car designed around a budget (think Camaro 2LS versus a Mazda Speed3). I know that isn't exactly the comparison in question here, but that is what it comes down to...what do you want to spend your money on?

Just yesterday, my Mom brought her 2014 Nissan Sentra to the dealership for something. She said she liked it, but liked the way my car rode far better (the way it takes bumps, the way it holds the road, etc). The guy a Nissan asked what I drove. When she said, "Camaro", they said "Well, yeah of course."

That is without a V8, or RS or 1LE package...just the basics. And those basics are pretty damn good.

So...If someone can't enjoy or appreciate the shared DNA between an LS/LT and an SS, then they aren't much of a Camaro enthusiast.

Ask anyone that wanted or owned a "power car" in the 80's and 90's. The V-6 Camaros are animals and interior/options don't really vary much from the V-8 models. A Gen5 V-6 Camaro is a righteous vehicle. That lady has issues. Good luck!

You might want to read what I wrote again and think about it a few times before responding. I stated the same thing as everyone else, that it was not appropriate for her to say those things. Maybe now that I have repeated it, you will understand. No, I'm not her husband, nor yours. Comprehension is a wonderful thing.

I had no trouble at all understanding what you said in your last paragraph, but the fact that it was preceded by two paragraphs of how a V6 Camaro is not only beneath you but also your wife pretty much negates anything you said afterward.
