First real life look of the 2021 LT1 RS

I know it's generally just a package, and it's nothing much. But, I decided why not give people who are curious to see an early photo before it hits their dealers.

I know the LT1 was kind of the mediocre looking car for some. Thoughts? Still the same ugly car, or does the RS package make a huge difference?

Well it's not an ugly car. It's juste a base model Camaro with the V8.

Some people are buying the base model with the I4 and the V6 and it looks just like this.

I think we need to be careful with the way we say things.

There isn't just the V8 in life. There are many other things.

I like the spoiler, the front fascia, not so much. For the money I think I would just go 1SS. The RS package is half the difference between LT1 and 1SS anyway.

I personally bought an LT1 because I didn't like the SS front end. The base model drl's look better too IMO. Although it looks in your photo like for 2021 they are using the regular SS headlamps.

Agreed with the above, I got a 2020 LT1 because of the price, it had zero options, sat on the dealer for several months, no one wanted to even test drive it. It was a steal during the beginning of the covid pandemic. An LT1 with options will make it more costly than a 1SS. I would not have purchased a new v8 camaro at the current 1ss price range. The styling of each trim is subjective.

probably surprise some people who think they're up against a v6/i4...

I wish the 2021's would have went with a full hatch back though, like 3rd and 4th gens.

Big trunk with tiny opening == stupid.

As small of a touch it is, I like the styling of the LT1 badges on the fenders.

LT1’s front end looks pedestrian compared to the aggressive SS front. I’d only go LT1 if I was paying $30k or less.

I got the spoiler with mine but if they offered the RS package I would have gotten it just to get the taillights. Although to be honest, the red ones are growing on me. I think it is a nice looking car either with or without the RS package, although it would have cool to have gotten one as it would have been a perfect mate to my 92 RS with the B4C package since it is the modern day version of that car.

Two years ago on this website people were screaming for a Base model Car with a V8 in it. So Chevy gave it to you. I talked to a dealer yesterday he told me the LT1's are just sitting on the lots and they can not sell them. And you wonder why the car is going away.......
