Used stock on the lines. Only parts that required replacement at the part numbers i listed. I’ve seen similar, particularly the Z28 stuff. Highly doubt the rear ZR1 stuff will go obsolete and 99% sure the CCB rotor is the same. However the ZR1 center rotor hat that bolts to the rotor is in fact different. Only hat i know of that is fully interchangeable in the rear is from Z28 unless you procure one from aftermarket company like RB performance that makes a custom hat for our camaro.

Does the parking brake retain full functionality with the new rear calipers ? As mentioned by others it’s getting harder to find the rear z28 rotors, many sites are listing them as discontinued. If some how we are able to get z28 rear hats or the racing brake z28 hats, do we know what other can rotors bolt up to the hats? Thanks

One other thing, when you guys did the upgrade to the rotors I front did you also switch to the ventilated pistons in the front calipers as used in the z28/ c7 z06 calipers or did you leave the stock pistons ?

Used stock ZL1 1LE Front calipers, and yes the electronic ebrake maintained full functionality with my upgrade as outlined.

Thanks @speedysteve77. Im searching for some factory z28 rotors or the hats if i can find them. If i find the hats would the zr1 rotors just bolt to the hats im guessing? Seems like z28 rotors have been discontinued and you can only get them from ebay at crazy prices at this point.

So am I to understand the front ZLE Calipers will fit on the rear if I upgrade the rear rotors to the same size as the fronts?

I belive the mouting for the front and rear calipers are different so they aren’t interchangeable. SpeedySteve gave a good outline of what parts you need to make the change over to the carbon ceramic brakes

Might be important to note for anyone else interested in this idea...J57 is the GM code for CCB's, but not all J57 parts are the same. The C6ZR1 brakes are not the same as the C7ZR1 or BW5, but they all share the J57 code.
Also, when optioned with J57, there is a different program loaded in the MRC computer. It's adjusted for the different weight. Also, the C8 and BW are brake by wire and the computer has a different profile for the iron vs CCB. Perhaps most importantly, the 'Gen2' Brembo rotor (in C8Z and BW5) claims twice the life of the old Gen1 rotor when used on track. Spring Mountain (does the corvette and blackwing schools) use the CCB's and state 100 track hours is estimate before they are changed. Pads are changed far more frequently.

Also to answer previous questions on rotors, they are only sold each and price is for 1 single rotor.
