And it will be produced in Germany.... I'll take one in Stealth Gray or Absolute Black.

"The all-new Focus RS is the first-ever RS model that will be sold around the world, including the United States, and produced for all markets at Ford’s Saarlouis, Germany, manufacturing plant beginning late this year."

Maybe a $32k starting price.

Focus ST in ST3 trim starts at $26.5k and in Fusion AWD is a $2k option. Now this is an all New AWD system so let's say it's worth a $4k increase, added to the natural increase in prices year to year, coupled with better amenities (which may be options), we could see a low $30's start as opposed to a mid $30k start. The 2.3 is seeing ever wider usage so I don't see it affecting pricing all that much.

About damn time.

I've never been interested in an STi or EVO, because import.

This though, do want.

Exactly. The ST is already about 30k.

Will push $40,000............and likely worth it. Jealous.......wish GM would do this. Say would because I know they could. This car takes more courage than anything in Ford's lineup.

Very interested in picking this up... I was planning on getting a Mazdaspeed3 before the Camaro, but the AWD rumor came out so I waited. Hopefully the MS3 comes out in 2017 which is the new rumor, since it's been cancelled.
And Ford is going to take sales from subaru since they cancelled their hatchback versions of the STI.

Really might get this... I've had the itch for a hot hatch for a couple years now

I'd take this over the new EcoBoost Mustang... 320hp, AWD, Euro-inspired hot hatch design, lighter chassis, engineered/built in Germany, etc. Yup, this will be fun fun fun!

I drove the Fiesta ST at the EcoBoost challenge in Miami last year (and won 1st place in the AM division) and that thing was a blast to toss around their autocross setup... I can only imagine how this new RS would be like... like that but on steroids at the nth level. Now that would be eFFin fun!

New Mustang is pretty nice.

I'd rather save money on not having a luxury high dollar interior, but I may be in the minority.

Not suggesting they return to the Little Tykes plastic interiors like my '99 has, but these interiors aren't that bad at all. The more junk and material the manufacturer adds, the more weight and price go up.

yes because driving a 300+ horsepower car with an interior of a early 2000's minivan is so much fun is it too much to ask for different colored interior overall? im sure that leather and plastic dye is so expensive! god forbid microfiber ever touches anything inside a vehicle the car will weight extra 5000lbs and cost extra 10 thousand dollars. How about add less 'junk' and just design the interior better. Saving money on not having a nice interior is a ****ing myth that the car manufacturers have been getting away with way too long.

Did you read, anything, that I typed?

I clearly said, I'm NOT suggesting a Little Tykes (children's plastic toys) interior like on my 99 (ala 2000s minivan) on the new cars.

New Fords have pretty nice interiors, so I'm not even sure what you're ranting about.

Also, nobody suggested adding microfiber will make the car "weight" 5000 pounds. Adding 34 way adjustable power seats, infotainment centers, and other tech equipment will however increase the "weight" (proper usage here) of a vehicle, which is fine, just don't make all the bull crap standard equipment.
