Eggs: The Perfect Protein

How they build muscle: Not from being hurled by the dozen at your boss's house. The protein in eggs has the highest biological value—a measure of how well it supports your body's protein needs—of any food, including our beloved beef. "Calorie for calorie, you need less protein from eggs than you do from other sources to achieve the same muscle-building benefits," says Volek.

But you have to eat the yolk. In addition to protein, it also contains vitamin B12, which is necessary for fat breakdown and muscle contraction. (And no, eating a few eggs a day won't increase your risk of heart disease.)

How they keep you healthy: Eggs are vitamins and minerals over easy; they're packed with riboflavin, folate, vitamins B6, B12, D, and E, and iron, phosphorus, and zinc.

That's interesting... The same thing happen with Tuna... before, to much tuna was bad for the mercury now it's been said that no matter how much you eat it's not going to affect your health...

well I've started to be hesitant on Tuna or any fish caught in the pacific ocean ever since Fukushima had its meltdown and those Japanese thought it'd be a wonderful idea to poor the radiation in the ocean.

Average joe powerlifter can range from lineman to someone like I was. Small but strong.

More competitive power lifter can range from someone like me now that focuses way way more on strength to someone with a slight belly that is very big all over just not cut.

Then you start getting into the people like Dznts that have everything going for them in powerlifting. No extremely long limbs, really stocky, cut arms but not shredded to the bone. And of course very strong at this point.

And then the pro powerlifter look like beefcake, Brian shaw, people on the espn worlds strongest man.

That's my take on it anyway.
That's the reason I asked the question....unlike BB where you have different weight classes and levels of competitiveness and everyone looks "the same" with the minute differences separating 1st from 3rd....there is no one way that a pl'r looks. There are different weight classes and levels of competitiveness like bb but there's no 1 way a pl'r "looks" because a true powerlifter, regardless of level, trains to be strong not "look" a certain way.

I am weighing around 245 at the moment. Have been trying to bulk lately, but just started to diet back down today. I am 5'10'' I believe.

New season of American Ninja Warrior. Wow are those guys agile and strong. So much upper body strength is needed obstacle after obstacle. It's funny to see the really big muscular guys, they just run out of strength in minutes, takes way to much energy to carry all that mass.
