Happy belated birthday Jan. Congratulations on the sale Rick. I am on vacation this week took the trailer to Cleveland to relax and catch a few baseball games. Took the Camaro as well hoping to enjoy some top down time but as is my luck rain is in the forecast most of the week. Oh well it's nice not to be at work anyway.

Happy Belated Birthday Jan

Rick, Congrats on the sale ... I know how hard it can be to let our cars go sometimes; a few years back, was very hard to let my Callaway Twin Turbo Corvette go. Had put a lot of work into it; took it for a long cruise the day before the sale and it was a very emotional moment when I handed over the keys.

When I purchased my 69 from the original owner she was smiles for the camera. But when I loaded it into the trailer she teared up. I gave her a hug and told her I would take good care of it.

She owned it for 44 years. It was emotional for her.

Thanks everyone!

Someone in Alabama is interested in the Chevelle. We've talked quite a bit about it. One day, I received three back to back phone calls while driving down the interstate in a U-haul.

My daughter is now moved into her new apartment back in Maryland. We both worked hard unloading the U -haul. We also assembled lots of Ikea furniture. I am here in Maryland one more day, then I fly to Florida Wednesday to join the family.

Haven't had much time to be on here lately. Remodeling the kitchen, breakfast nook, & family room. What a mess!!!

Some area called Poinciana in Kissimmee. We are staying at a relative's time share.

Good luck with your home improvement.

How do you like this discovery? It's a prehistoric communications device.

Nevermind, photo won't upload.

Shoot - I was just there last week! If you like Spanish food go to The Columbia Restaurant in Celebration, FL should be about 10 -15 minutes from you. You'll probably need reservations on a Friday night 407-566-1505.

There's also a car show in Old Town (On 192 just East of I-4) tonight & tomorrow night. About 5 minutes from you. Link below:

It was a picture of a pay phone at the Kennedy Space Center.

As predicted, this family reunion did not end well. I feel bad for my wife, as this involves her dad and stepmother. However, I do not tolerate ambiguous behavior with passive-aggressive tendencies. If you want something, say it. Tell the truth. Do not agree with something you do not agree with, then become angry when things move in a direction you do not agree with. Ugh!

Didn't get to go to the car show, as everyone said "Ew"! I took it like a man and did what the family wanted to do and moved on. No drama, no yelling, no storming off.

Tomorrow (Saturday) we'll be meeting up with my high school buddy who is looking forward to seeing us again, as we can't wait to see him and his wife. It will be a welcome change from what we have endured here.
