Wanna trade for my Z28 carbon brakes?

I’m considering going iron on my new to me 2014 z28. Car has 5500 street miles only, NO track time. The rotors look brand new, shiny and smooth, pads are pretty much new as well, not even burnished yet. There is a few ways to achieve my iron rotor goals.

One way is to trade with a Gen 6 zl1 owner.
The front rotor rings are interchangeable between the z28/zl1. Other z28 members have already done this. So I would send you my front rings/pads and keep my hats, vise versa. The front calipers are the same between z28/zl1

Rear setup: I would send you my rear calipers/pads and rotors, as the rears are diff size, thus needing to swap calipers. But everything is compatible in the rear and swaps right over. That’s how racing brake does it for their ccm conversion.

Figured I’d throw it out there and see if anyone maybe wants to go with the carbon brake setup. Obviously cash on top from the zl1 owner.
Anyone interested?

$1200 ccm rotor to $400 fe rotor... and that's just one side of the front. $2K-ish or more ?

Iron rotors are that much better performance than ccm?

Quite the opposite. CCB’s allow you to have your cake and eat it to. They save Un sprung weight, have incredible performance in all heat ranges, street or track, will not fade and look amazing. They virtually come on every exotic/super car now. They are the Rolex of brakes. Downside they are expensive when the time comes to replace them.

I plan on tracking my z28 so I’m thinking of parting with my CCB’s while they are still in like new condition. Driven on street the carbon rotors will potentially last the life of the car. I’ve seen multiple post where g6 zl1 owners had said they wish gm made it a option on the zl1. Im offering that option for a great deal. Anyone considering it message me let’s make a deal.

CCB rears will last you 60 plus/minus days on the rears, do yourself a favor and keep them, if you really want irons up front you can grab them fairly cheap from gm parts direct online. Can probably grab the rotors and pads for the front for the price of one CCB rotor. If you ever plan on selling/trading the car, or even if you don't, you will probably wish you had those front rotors down the road. If you do swap the hats and it works, please posts some pics of the swap, still have not seen anyone actually do the swap, CCB to the ZL1 or iron to the Z/28

I always thought CCB didn't work as good in the wet or until they got up to temperature. Therefore making them a bit of a pain to use in every day driving.

They do look amazing on the car though.
