I know what you mean, but I just think that he is just passionate about the products that he sells that he trust while he uses them on the sport competitions that he participates, and that is fine. I personally approached him because when I sold my Porsche 911 Carrera that I used to participate on my local PCA sport events, bought a S197 and saw that on several Mustang communities he gave great advise on what to do to fellow owners to improve the performance of their cars. On my case he was very accurate because he help me with his advise and products in order to improve my '11 Mustang GT 5.0 handling, now my car was able to compete at BMW M levels at the track. That was my experience.
I know that besides his Mustangs, he has competed with a C7 Corvette Grand Sport and recently with a Camaro SS1LE and the new Mustang Mach l.

I'm guessing that probably he had a bad experience, but that doesn't mean that the 6th gen Camaro is unsafe at all, based on other well reputation reviewers that have talked very highly about the car.

Personally I believe that the 6th gen Camaro is one of the best sport car performers on the planet for the $ and very able to compete with BMW Ms, Shelbys and even with the Corvette C8 Z51. Also very highly praised by sport car drivers like: Randy Pobst, Jonny Lieberman, Jason Camissa, Carlos Lago and Andy Pilgrim.

Congrats to Ford. It only took them, what, 6yrs to be .4 seconds faster at AMP with a 10spd Mach 1 than a 4yr old, manual 1LE with 40k miles.

Mach 1 is the first post 2017 facelift (other than GT 500) that i like.

Both those cars are gorgeous!

i agree that the mustang is a fine looking car. had a buddy that had a GT 350 (not an R) and he did well at NCM with that car. i also love having our mustang buddy Norm on here too. hes a wealth of knowledge, and just a good dude. your gonna get fan boys on both sides that love or hate the radiator fluid in the other car lol. the rivalry should be fun but help each other in the paddock, THEN go beat the crap outta each other on track!
i will say that on the 1LE brakes, ive read on here several places that say the brake lines are really good and dont need replacing. i put the good SS lines on mine and i could tell night and day difference immediately. very firm pedal and modulation is "race car" good.

Not even close. Even that among the various Mustang trim levels that would be on the short list of cars I'd consider buying (price-independent) if I needed to replace the toy I already have on short notice. Price-dependent, it'd almost certainly slip enough places to get kicked off the list.

I'd reserve the "special" tag for cars like the original GT40, the 1st gen GT350 and the 1963 split-window Corvette.
