Camaro Engine is out... Let the high boost mods begin!

I am honestly surprised this completely stock little LT1 with a Magnuson TVS 2300 has survived the last 2 years of abuse; as much as 16psi boost (750 RWHP), hundreds of 1/4 mile passes with a best pass of 9.93@140, and over 22000 miles. I'm normally pretty good at breaking stuff, but this one has been really resistant.

Time for the next level of performance - I'll try to post the build as it happens; shortblock, heads, cam, headers, rollcage, etc. It will go back together with a TVS2300 which we will push to the absolute limit before swapping out to the bigger TVS2650...

Mike I can't wait to see what happens with this package. Its pretty awesome because I won't be far behind you with similar mods. Maybe not the stroker setup but, well you know.

Looking good. What are you going to do for a motor? What mods? Power goals? Time goals?

I believe its going to be a 416, heads, cam, headers, full cage and probably over 800 rwhp with the 2300, should be pretty stellar and ready to go for the LS Fest, I think the high 8's are in the future for Mike and his Team.

Turbo, they sure are, we just installed Magnusons High volume pump and I went down to the 80mm pulley from the 90mm. I'm going to be at about 11-12 lbs of boost now, I've been running about 7.5. So I'm hoping for 10.30's this weekend at about 138 mph. I'm shooting for 9's this fall when it cools off.

I think you made the right call. I would go right to the 2650 if you can get your hands on one. They are just more efficient. Look forward to seeing you set more records.

With all that abuse, please let us know how the stock parts look when you take them out.

Glass and interior out - Camaro heading to "Skinny Kid Race Cars" tomorrow for a full cage. Hate to add the weight, but better than getting kicked out of the track...or worse yet - crashing.
