The mustangs with a v8 generally have a GT logo on the side and back. V6s dont. If they have gt500 on it then its also a v8. Same with gt350

Sometimes the R/T has the same wheels as the V6, so you may not be able to tell the difference as easily.

actually all 2010 and lower mustang V6s have only one exhaust while the new 2011s have duals. Mustang V6ers will also not have the large center headlight lamps like the V8 GTs have, but some of the premium models have smaller center lamps.

...just thought I'd add that there were about 6000+ '08-'09 Bullitt models in either dark green or black. They don't have GT badges or rear spoilers, and don't have the grille fog/driving lamps. To the unknowing, they appear to be V6 cars, but they're also GTs in disguise...with factory CAI and 3.73 rear gears. Most ran around a 13.7 completely stock, but many are no longer stock..
Yeah, I know; you-all think it's just another fugly Mustang..

That's really the easiest way, imo. At night it's hard to miss a 2005-2009 Mustang GT.

2010 Challenger V6-3.5L 250 HP

No "R/T"/ "SRT" emblem on the grill
Single Exhaust
Basic wheels
Generally no spoiler (The Rally pack I think has a spoiler)
If it has a spoiler-No emblems
"Smile"/Upward air opening below grill
2011 Challenger V6-Pentastar V6, 304 HP
Dual Exhausts
"Frown"/Downward air opening below grill

Otherwise the V6's are generally the same. The new engine has made the 2011 Challenger V6's solid high 14 second cars

The 2012 Camaro will be receiving the new "LFX" V6 Engine, producing 325-335 hp and getting even better gas mileage as well as E85 capability. If it has 335 then that's only a 65 horsepower away from the L99, which is worrying. The L99 at that point wont be worlds faster than the V6 model as they were in the 90s(less than 2/3 the V8s power, 315 hp vs 200), now the V6 is making more than 3/4 the V8s power.

4-way drag race video.

Unsuprisingly the Hyundai Genesis won, with the biggest engine and lightest curb weight in it's class. The Camaro and Mustang were dead even, though the Camaro was starting to pull ahead, it had a higher trap speed. Challenger came in last.
