they are definitely doing more to blend in. I've seen a couple of truck coos now. Usually silver/white with the silver/white lettering. I think the last one I saw was a Dodge Ram.
I've never picked up a radar detector because most cops here are stationary and use laser. I'm also infrequently just flat out full throttle speeding. I get to a spot I like and go the speed necessary to keep my own little bubble |

...but do they have catch cans installed? And are they using 5W-30 or 0W-40 oil?

I live in Southwest FL. On I75 I usually drive 90mph in the left lane with radar detector. Sometimes up to 94 if hardly any traffic. Most drive 85 mph on I75 except in the morning when old people are out.

I heard about these cars a while back. Pretty nifty if you ask me. And on the subject of questionable driving in each state, my dad and I used to joke that in some parts of NorCal, that a red light means "X number of cars okay to go". This was because that after a red light on a left turn from the opposite direction, there would be some cars that still went through, so we would still have to wait a few moments after we got our green light. Sometimes it was 3 cars, other times it'd be up to 6-7 cars.

Near where I live there a yellow stang that will ride your bumper then when you speed up it pulls you over. Recently I also saw a beat up white f150 with massive paint damage pull over a speeding motorcycle.

I actually don't care what engine is in it/model it is. unless you're running around with fake plates they don't need to be able to run you down on the road, they'll catch up to you eventually. |

In that article they said I45 was the second most dangerous road in America and I drive it every day 37 miles one way to downtown Houston and then back during rush hour traffic so I can confirm that stat. It's crazy and that's why I daily drive a big ass Silverado |

Which is shocking because the traffic from footage I've seen it looks like you can't go more than 30mph with all that traffic in Houston. Down here our accidents happen with people spinning out into ditches when it rains hard on the highway and going too fast or big trucks crashing on the highway into guard rails. In this area I75, especially out of season and the weekends due to lack of traffic the people drive fast. I drive about 90-93mph on I75 even though the speed limit is 70. Most drive at least 80. But in the summer thunderstorms it gets quite scary. Rain so hard you literally can't see 30 feet in front of you. Last Sunday I had a Concast (Comcast) truck run me off the road on I75. Just started drifting into my lane. Honk the horn and he doesn't stop and I end up partially on the curb and median. Must have been falling asleep and didn't hear me. I almost wanted to go after him. I'm literally paranoid driving my SS right now lol because of the shortages if I had to replace it. It's like a collectors muscle car right now to me LOL. I can't imagine what it's like for you people that have a old COPO Camaro or a 427 Stingray driving it out in this crazy traffic and the paranoia. |
