No, not like taking the pin out but definitely fixed the problem with the 17 and 18 barely going back an inch or two. I almost never go full recline on this car now.
Very 1st thing I noticed going from a 17 to a 19. |

Sometimes i wish mine reclined more. My little guy falls asleep in the car a lot. Wish the seat reclined more so his head and neck weren’t so contorted. |

2019 ZLE... Minimal recline until I did the mod today!
It's glorious! I was so excited to see this post. Drilling these pins is not for the faint of heart. I have an excellent corded drill, but really cheap drill bits. Went through pretty much all of them! Ended up using a Christmas Tree bit. Final hole size was about 15/32. Then got in there with a Dremel to clean things up. |
