Dealers are beginning to list ZL1s on their websites:
I hope this isn't going to be the norm re dealer markups.

Doesn't look like any ADM....they have the MSRP at 85K....Looks like a pre-mature guess, though.... |

Chapman is a volume dealer, and I've never seen them markup their vehicles.
Anyways, they cite $85k and then have this in the disclaimer: Quote:

Criminal GM should pull their dealership for being crooks. I know they won't and can't .. Just saying. Wow!

Dealer called back, said they had an allocation, but wasn't sure for what Phase, they are going to get more information tomorrow they said, and would call me back and let me know what the "real" deal is.
Oh, I did ask about the price as well of course, the sale lady also questioned it, so should have more information about the whole thing tomorrow. She did say one would have to be there physically to order it, so I'm probably out either way. |

I bought my gen 5 ZL1 in a small Texas town and it had sat on the lot for almost a year prior. Not many around there will pay that kind of money for a Camaro. They were happy to see it go. Poor customer service overall, but I may find myself going back there to order one with fleet pricing included. They'll be happy get my business and won't dare mention a mark up. I'll call and see if they have an allocation. Small towns are your best bet.

Dealer did a quick follow up
1. They have an allocation and can place order tomorrow 2. They are asking MSRP - The guy said MSRP plus $10,000 for any additional options. The extra 10k was just because they don't know the pricing for options yet. So, they will sell for MSRP when all is said and done. 3. Need to be at the dealer to place the order apparently. 4. They want a $5,000 "non-refundable" deposit to place the order. Yeah, you read that correctly. 5. He said he would call me again tomorrow when he knew what the option pricing was. |

Definitely sound like ADM to me as well.
A 65k car jumped all the way up to 85k?!?! I HIGHLY doubt a loaded up ZL1 will be 85!! |
