100% agree.

I would take a 98-02 SS over a WS6 any day. However, they're still damn good lookin cars. I ran into a '99 Pewter Trans Am WS6 clone. we both had our t-tops off, and we just sat and looked at each other and laughed

Back in the day I owned Firebirds and preferred them but now years later I like the camaros more. They are a little cleaner and the firebirds got a little too bodykit-y.

Honestly either will give you all the enjoyment you can handle.

too bodykit-y? i could see if it had massive ground effects but it doesnt..4th grn camaros are like boxes on wheels, no curves....TA is all about the curves!

This is one of those questions that really boil down to your personal preferance. Do you prefer racing stripes or screaming chickens on your hood? I have an '02 Camaro SS right now. I had a '96 Firebird Formula at one time. Personally I like simple and clean, which is why I picked a Formula over the more garish Trans Am for my first 4th gen F- body and a Camaro SS over either this time around. A 2002 Firebird Formula Firehawk would be my choice if I was looking for a 'bird.

ETA: Just looked on Autotrader and found a '02 Formula Firehawk for sale at the same dealer I bought my SS from last Fall.

I'm partial to the body lines of the Camaro myself, but would love to get my hands on a late model Trans-Am!
