Question C7 Corvette wheels forged or cast?

I don't remember reading this info before.

Are the Corvette Stingray wheels forged or cast? Any weight info on them yet?

I thought I read somewhere that the Z51 wheels are forged.

I'm guessing that they're forged. The Z51 rims should be at least.

Non-Z51 are cast and Z51 are forged based on what I have read.

Absolutely correct, base wheels are cast, Z51's forged. Noted on one of the Corvette factory tech briefings, forging the Z51's is because they are more vulnerable to curbs because of the lower profile tires and no doubt safer for racing/track since forged alloys are about 15% stronger.
