I had one when I lived in the city so I can peep at my neighbors across.

I would like to get something, but it will be on the back burner since I just spent $4500 ordering a drag pack. Will revisit after I pay my taxes in April.

Idk much about this topic. I do have a Celestron 6se that I bought to use with my DSLR. Took some pictures of the sun (with filter) and the moon. At the time I expected this would become more of a nice hobby to compliment photography. Unfortunately it doesn’t get used a lot now. However, the photography part has continued for over a decade.

We managed that when in college. My scope would get great access into the women's dorm across the way.

Now days I would like to get a good enough one to at least see beyond the moon. Possible Mars?

For a long time, I did not understand why looking at the stars at all, because there is nothing interesting there. But recently, everything has changed. I recently turned 30 and my friends gave me a massage chair for my birthday, and my wife gave me a telescope. And they "made" me get involved in it. But I am incredibly grateful to them for this because it is very cool. I sit in my chair, gaze at the stars, and then turn on the chair, relax and contemplate the eternal
