1/4 window trim

Does the plastic trim around the 1/4 windows come off separate or is it part of the window?

Here you go! Looks like it is part of the window.

It's what is called an encapsulated window. The glass and frame are bonded together. Your have to replace the entire unit.

How hard is it to replace? is it just glued in?

It is a urathene set. The hardest part is cutting out the old one without damaging the car. After that it's glued in urethane, the same glue for windshields.
I've been doing auto glass for 29 years, this isn't a job for someone's first try.
With the tools and experience it's a15 minute job.

There are some things a pro should do, actually a lot of things.
