ZL1 'vert Rarity
2 Months in on my vert and still cannot remove the smile of my face.
I know the vert ZL1 is rare and I haven't seen another in my area yet. Does anyone know the Camaro build data for 2018? I thought I saw a member share a 2018 build matrix for all Camaro's by trim and color and I have tried searching for it but can not locate it. Thanks! |

I would agree that the convertibles are very rare. Where I live in NC, I have seen 2 other ZL1's besides my own.
And neither of them was a convertible. In fact, the only convertible camaro I have seen around here is a white 2SS 2019. I can tell by the ugly front end...

Funny enough, there is another Vert just down the street from me. Couldn't believe it when I saw it as ZL1s in general are very rare in Canada

I’ve seen a total of 4 hardtop Z’s and three vert Z’s (in Mass), one white, one blue (potentially yours) and mine. That’s it... |

It's 622, with just about 1/2 that for 2017, so ~900-ish
Here's that data for 2018, note some of the colors, like an Arctic Blue Metallic convertible in 2018 ... 5 were made! I'm currently shopping a ZL1 convertible, so I researched the numbers |

Wow, cool numbers. So, my 2018 M6 ZL1 is one of only 1025 built that year. Awesome...

You start thinking about that many cars, distributed across 50 states, it explains why you don't see many (though I'd assume some states are more heavily loaded ...) |

Thanks Mask!! that was exactly what I was looking for. Great Data!
[QUOTE=Chutzpah;10520486]Drexler did you get that Z down the Cape, on what was advertised as a killer deal 15% off +?... if so, I was so close to driving down and checking it out. I decided to stick with my order in for my 19. It was hard because they were calling me to the day it was bought. Yup that was me! Sorry bud but I am glad that I beat ya to it. Was going to buy a Corvette but decided to grab this one especially with that deal. Got another 5% off after negotiations |

I live in Cary and work in RTP. I have never seen a convertible ZL1 between work and my house.
If you live in Raleigh, that might explain it. I don't drive around Raleigh much.

I live in Grapevine, TX (DFW) and I have only seen maybe 2 6Gen ZL1's in 2 years.

Most people aren't crazy enough to roll around in a 650hp vert :P
