Yep, that is correct, my point is that the headliner is responding to the air pressure flutter, not the cause of it.

For what it's worth, the technical term is Helmholtz resonance:

I have noticed anecdotally that it has only been a problem for me on newer cars. I suspect that maybe improved aerodynamics makes the problem worse, and that is why it is more of a thing with newer cars and not older ones.

A Windflector helps. But I think it is not available for a Camaro
