I got some thin black rubber tubing and pushed it in the opening. This was after my wife had her wedding ring slide under there and I had to remove the console to get it out.

As a side note, I lost a microSD card in the nook between the vents and center console. Anyone have any ideas as to how to fill that gap? I've stuffed a couple strips of felt as a temporary measure.

It’s all plug-and-play, I just mounted the interface to the tray/pan that you have to drop under the dash. Depending on model, your steering wheel controls will activate the camera. There is also a micro switch.

Topped off the coolant, dealership told me it was fine. Guess a half empty top and fully empty bottom reservoir is fine now

Yeah, didn’t you know that no coolant is OK according to dealerships.

I bought a new set of Velgen VF5’s for the wife’s Mustang and was pleasantly surprised at the quality! Nice and light too.

Thanks for the reminder about these items and being on sale. It was on my list to do when I had my 2017 2SS. Probably even a better improvement for the ZL1.

2016 2ss, purchased a little over a month ago. Changed differential fluid, was probably never taken care of before with 80 k miles on it. Was nasty and a little low. Will change again to help flush crud out at next oil change.

Smart move! I changed mine at 1K miles after buying the car new, and was surprised how much gunk there was after the first 1,000 miles! That said, it’s been clean as a whistle ever since. I’ve changed it 3 or 4 times since then and it’s always spotless. So I really think that first one is the big one.

I agree, I did my rear diff at 505 miles and again at 1,500 miles, the first one was pretty nasty (break-in gunk) the 1,500 one wasn't too bad (but still some "stuff"), 4,000 was much better and the 8,000 was a non-event...

Cheap insurance, I'll change it every 2nd oil change from here on out...
