I am in for this. Love the concept, attention to detail, and the final aesthetic.

A cool option would be to have provisions for a mesh guard. Something fine and black would blend in.

I've seen the OP's car in person and it looks absolutely fantastic with the new crash bar (that you can't see), why GM didn't do this in the first place is beyond me...

Having met the OP several times in person (yet again just this morning) and seeing his absolute attention to detail, I would NOT hesitate for a moment ordering one of these if this crash bar is of interest to you, I'm sure it will absolutely live up to everything advertised... He takes everything very seriously and has fantastic attention to detail...

If I had a ZL1, I'd be ordering it in a heartbeat, seriously improves the look from the front...

I agree, I wish GM would have put a little bit more thought into details like these... and I LOVE having that large visual obstruction removed, providing better visibility and airflow into the HX. Aso great seeing you all again at the Cars & Coffee event

A friend of mine bought a new C8 this spring, he sold it and went back to ZL1. It's hard to give up a great car he is happy again.

I will say this…

I saw a lot of small batch runs with the 5th gen when it first came out and kicked myself for not jumping on them when I had the chance, because they were gone or the person wasn’t producing them anymore pretty shortly after the product was made. No offense to the OP or his product, but if it’s anything like the 5th gen was, this could be the ONLY batch he produces for our cars. If you are on the fence, it’s now or never for parts produced on such a small scale. Worst case, you keep the crash bar boxed up and sell it to the next enthusiast who kicks themselves for not being involved sooner.

A perfect recent example was the guy working with the brake line mfg overseas on the CF brake lines. They did an initial run of 10. Customer service was poor, but the quality of the product was really high. They mfg got out of the game and there are only 10 of these sets (to my knowledge) floating around. I was late to the party, but lucky enough to find a fellow enthusiast on here who sold me his unused set. For something as quality as this crash bar, I’m going to be at the front of the line.

I've had a C8 Stingray Z51 along with my ZL1, but I let the C8 go and kept the ZL1. I wouldn't be interested in a C8 Stingray again, but a Z06 or E-ray I'd be willing to part with the ZL1. Its hard to beat the mid-engine platform, its just better in every way.
