Z51 diff fluid being low?

Just curious, is the diff fluid so low we should be worried on the Z51 equipped cars? Has anyone made gm put a new rear end in the car?

The dealer said it would only affect the diff if you were racing. Personally I haven't raced mine yet. However, I have done a few wide open straight line pulls and some spirited driving along the coast out here in CA.

You don't need a new diff if you add fluid soon. And yes, it could be a problem if you log a lot of miles on low fluid. Just add fluid now. Don't wait any longer.

So? Do you even know if your fluid is low? Like I said, you really don't want to wait. And your dealer isn't the brightest. Your fluid needs to be at it's correct level regardless of whether or not you race the car. You can check yourself. FYI, race ramps make it much easier.
