Aux pump kicks in around 2psi. I purchased the non zl1 kit.

While the rest of the world is frozen, I'm down here in Florida enjoying the great cruising weather. This Supercharger is a beast! Look at that boost climb. I'm still using the biggest pulley that ESS sent me (110mm). I need more fuel injector and a forged short block so I can turn it up to 20psi. Loving this thing so far.

I took the car back to my local dyno, STP Motorsports. Since the baseline dyno was performed here, I wanted to put the car on the same dyno with the new G3X blower, and overlay the graphs. Of course this is several months apart, but the dyno compensates for weather conditions anyway. Only 10degrees difference.

The only changes made, were: ESS Tuning's G3X blower with 110mm pulley and E85. Depending on how high we rev, we were seeing 14-15psi. Only running 13 degrees of timing here on E85. Plenty of room to grow with this setup. Spinning the blower at about 55,000rpm, and could go to 75,000rpm. So it could easily support 1000whp. Currently out of fuel injector...

The green line was the Vortech V3Si with a 95mm pulley (10.5-11psi) on 93 octane.

I'd say thats a pretty substantial gain for the $1000 upgrade cost of the G3X. They'll also have a non-billet G3 option for only $300 more. And then there is the G4X thats going to be insane.

I installed this kit in one of my friends car and it made 701whp with 100mm pulley and catless headers tuned by race proven motorsports. That's with 93pump gas. I'm sure their dyno is a little happy but still great numbers for such a simple setup.

Lol send nudes. Nice car. 100mm pulley made 12psi? Is he on the stock cam?
With my cam and exhaust, 95mm pulley it made 10.5psi.

Not sure how I feel about these RPM dudes. Why talk shit about your customers, on camera, and put it on Youtube? Wouldnt get my money.

The Camaro in that video needs more BOV. You dont want to be hearing any compressor surge when you lift off like it has.

Although interesting in the video the belt tensioner doesnt seem to move at all during a pull. That seems a little odd, as it's hard to believe there would be no belt stretch whatsoever.
But if indeed there is no stretch, then it's very good.

Stock cam. Yea its a little ****ed up that they were talking shit. I'm doing heads and cam on my 6th gen this summer and was considering having it tuned by them but changed my mind after I watched the video. Seems like being youtube famous is getting to their heads.

We always do baselines on all the cars and they are always right in line with everyone else. I find it funny people always say out final numbers are "high" but say the baselines are right on par. Its still the same dyno so not sure how one can be high but the other be fine.

Not exactly sure where i was talking shit. More so stating facts and informing people of the correct things.

If me stating facts makes you not want me to tune your car than im sorry. I am ALWAYS honest with people even if its something they dont wanna hear. We have built thousands of cars so we have a lot of experience. Also i am far from youtube "famous" The last thing i car about is youtube. We have been in business for almost 15 years and been making videos for a little over 2. We simply do it as another source of advertising/entertainment.

100mm Pulley Update

Since I was out of fuel injector, I upgraded to a FIC142# and had dsmlights retune the car. And why pay for a retune and not drop a pulley size? So I went from 110mm to 100mm. While I was expecting to see a larger gain in peak hp/tq, we did not. Peak numbers were 837/727, but we did see nice gains of 50-80whp from 3000-6000rpm. Peak boost was 18.6# @7000rpm, but most of the gains were lower in the rpm range. I'm starting to think it may be restricted by the air filter.

The 275/40/20 MT ET Streets aren't cutting it... while there wasn't a huge jump in peak numbers, the car is much faster on the street. The blower seems to be in its happy place.

Solid results and the piece of mind that you have enough fuel. What pressure do you those tires at?

Thanks. 20psi for the dyno, but usually about 18 if I want to get some traction. I've got a set of 18x10.5's just waiting on tires.
