Questions about track oil

Hi guys. New to the forum. I will get my 6speed zle very soon for this track season. I read some posts that say zle has to use 15w-50 on track but needs to be changed quickly(4 hours driving according to GM). I am wondering if I only drive the car from home to track and about 3-4 sessions run(1-1.5hrs track driving), do I need to change the oil after every track event? Can I just change the oil after every 1000-1500 or 2000 miles? Changing the oil too often seems a disaster for me.
I have another daily car, so I will only drive zle for track days or cruise to chill.
Need your help!

Driving the car on 15w-50 to and from the track is not a problem.
I think it's recommended to not start the car under 40 degrees F on the track oil and there are some longevity concerns on the cats with dailying the oil.

I run the track spec oil all the time. I make sure to warm up the car thoroughly before getting on it

I run Amsoil 15-50 all the time on and off the track. Obviously I don't drive in cold weather. I also make sure car is warmed up before driving.

I also run 15W-50 year round. The caveat is she's stored for the winter and sees very few street miles overall, however I do drive to and from track events -- sometimes 5+ hours each way.
