One way to find out if this car is for you is to go drive it.

Just out of curiosity: Does anyone know if you can purchase the 1LE wheel/tire combo and install on an LT1?

Yes, OEM and replica 1LE wheels are sold and do mount on the LT1 trim. Additionally, you can mount better tires on them than the oem goodyears.

Offer them $38k and they include factory 1LE wheels/tires. The 6 speed is fun though, but the 10 speed is quicker.

MRR makes similar wheels, they are in the $300-400 range each. The factory ones cost a bit more.

As far as different a wheel/tire combo take a look at the for sale section of this forum. You may find something there. Although those are some good looking wheels on that car now

As an LT1 owner it is a great car puts a smile on my face, V8 is amazing, fun around the curves and more but that being said I would not pay more than 38k for one new. I would get an SS at that point.

I traded in my 2021 LT1 6-speed for a 2023 ZL1 Auto Convertible.

The LT1 was a great car, the only option I had was the sunroof and painted front calipers (red). If you want to go fast in a straight line and do some spirited driving around town, there is nothing wrong an LT1 and would buy another one in a second if I wanted another Camaro to add to the stable.
When you get a little older like myself, the whole 6-speed thrill kinda goes away, sometimes I just want to step on the gas and go fast.....LOL

I wish I could find a 2SS for a decent price. That's why this one is so tempting. If they take $38k....thats a solid deal.

OEM 1LE wheels are full forgings where as the MRR ones are cast face, so that’s a big part of the price difference. Worth holding out for the real ones IMO.

THIS! I would buy a brand new 2SS (without the 1LE if you aren't going to track) and load it up with MRC, NPP, A10 and even a sunroof (if you want) and it would be about the same price and offer a LOT more in features and creature comforts...

Don't hesitate, go take it for a spin. It's a good looking camaro with some good options especially the recaro seats. Then you can decide if it's for you. I agree, these days at $38 it's a smokin' deal!
