Do you think the police should drive in the new Camaro ?
I don't, I don't want the police driving in something that I've been waiting for since 2006. |

Only if they confiscate it from drug runners, I'd hate to see money go toward 'fun toys' when they are laying officers off because of the lack of money.

I say yes. Why limit their resources? I'm not a criminal; so they won't be using it to chase me down. Too bad for the bad guys, huh?

I say No why should a public servant get to drive a bitchin car. Spend the money on hiring back the police that were layed off.

I say yes.
As Dragon said, they aren't chasing me with it, so why would I care. The other reason I say yes....more sales of Camaros help keep the car around. It's never going to become a "fleet only" car, so we don't have to worry about that. Just keep the sales numbers up so GM's bean counters can continue to justify the program. In this same train of thought, the more they sell to police forces, the fewer sales Dodge and Ford are making to them. Just a little bonus. |

Are you kidding??? NO????
Are you breaking laws that would require them to chase you in a Camaro? A B4C Camaro would cost almost the same as some of these highway patrol vehicles.....so what's the difference? I honestly don't know why someone would say it wouldn't be okay. Now...a Lambo like some other countries? I could see that being excessive...but c'mon....a bare bones criminal catcher? GO FOR IT! and a reason of "I don't want police driving in something that I've been waiting so long for...." isn't a wise financial decision for GM at all. The more they sell, the better GM does financially. Don't you think the more sales of Camaros would do US better? |

most likely it will be highway patrol officers that will get a camaro; the camaro is not really practical for your neighborhood cop on patrol..

I voted no because I don't want the "man" to be driving something better/faster than me, LOL!

+1 Yes. I'm with yall, that's just one more reason the Camaro should never die again. Plus you know that would be a sypathetic officer. "Honestly sir it just goes that fast, it wasn't my idea."

Seems somewhat impractical since its only 2 door so even if you catch someone you'll have to wait for backup since you won't be able to get criminals in the back seat very easily.

How else you going to reward these hard working public servants? Better'n a gold package on a Crown Vic! Besides, make the B4C package stuff available to the common man as well or as an option.
To simplify this response: I would MUCH rather see them in the hands of the police than in the hands of Avis, Hertz, Alamo, National, or Budget!!! Please GM, NEVER SELL THEM TO THE RENTAL FLEETS! |

Why? Don't you want others to be able to experience driving it so they can want to buy one too? I sure want to be able to rent one before I'll be able to buy one!

You either call for backup, or if you have only one prisoner, they go in the front seat.
