Best Intake for Rolls?

Getting ready for next season and looking to upgrade my intake. I was looking at a high ram but there are complaints that you lose low end torque. What are your opinions? Set up with an f35 stage 4 cam

Stick with a stock intake manifold, you can't beat it.

Look into the GPI rod mod. They install radius bars in the intake as well as porting. They also have the option to add a heat shield to it. I should be getting mine back in the next couple weeks as they are doing all of the above mods to it. I should have this all installed and retuned by spring and I'll share the results.

Mid runner fast or take a look at the LOD speedworks manifold. Stock intake manifold is pretty limited past 6500 RPM and the F35 stage 4 cam power peak is at 6600 rpm

I had a stock ported/rod mod and it did well with a ss4. I upgraded to super Vic and picked up hp but lost tq. Pick your poison

You are going to lose your low end torque with that cam. If you want a big cam you are going to shift your power band way up the power band. The F35 stage 4 cam is a beast but it starts pulling at 4-4.5k. You'll need a stall of at least 4k on an auto or big gears on a manual. We'd install it for you or sell it to you if you want it but you have to keep in mind that it's no longer a street car. That cam would work great with a hi ram intake but would probably work great with a Fast intake or a ported stocker too.

I love a good roll stuffed with gravy, mashed potatoes and fried chicken breast or chicken fried steak...

I'd disagree. I'm running a big cam, 3.91s and around 5k stall. Fun on the streets if I'm smart about what I'm doing

Keyword is Rolls as in roll racing. If this is a M6 run a ported High rise with a 102mm. Your low end will suffer but if your main focus is rolls thats your best bet.

Here is some good data on what happens to the torque curve with a short runner intake, after 6K it starts to work.

Spoke with GPI today. Looks like their ported / rod mod may be the way I go. You see gains in the entire power curve. I'm also debating on the ported high rise. Decisions! It is an M6 car.
