I'm going to give it a go by myself (as you know I'm pretty good with interior dis-assembly and had most of this stuff (center console, wheel, etc.) off anyway at one point or other). Plus your harness makes this "plug and play" . I've read through this whole thread a few times and if I get stuck, I might give you a call.
Kenji,

Where in SoCal are ya? I did mine in December and might be able to help if you need some. I'm in Anaheim Hills.

Thanks for the offer, Don O - but I'm way up in Chatsworth. Waaaay too far and I wouldn't wish crossing LA on a Sunday on anyone.

Did you do the install this weekend? It was a great weather weekend for it. I just changed the oil and re-torqued the new LTs yesterday

For a while I had forgotten why I moved to CA with all the BS... but this weekend reminded me that it could still be worth it. Saturday was spent in San Diego, but I did get a chance to install Sunday afternoon.

I had my wife help with the final pulling/installing of the dash (it's kind of bulky to do by yourself). I did call Ofer to ask about the passenger side air bag bracket. The final bolts are under several covers, battery back-up/on-star boxes, and brackets. One note on the OP the Torx sizes needed are 15 and 50 (not 37) for the steering wheel. I ended up not needing the steering wheel puller, I just wiggled it off the splines.

All I can say is WOW!... I love it. Thanks Ofer and all those that have contributed to making this mod possible

I have a pdf of the service manual pages I'll post it for you, also there are a few other bolts that aren't listed in the instructions. Mostly stuff like the fuse box and stuff like that! Drove me crazy.

Call it karma! Been thinking about doing this install when a couple of days ago a rock hit the winshield and turned into having to replace it. Safelite gave the option of do you have remote start and hud installed already? Yes maam I do! so new windsheild is in now to order the parts. Anyone in the st louis area done the hud install yet? could use the help

I'm kind of wishing for this to happen to my windshield. The double image isn't bad, but not what it could be. I might just have to replace it someday.

Hey Patrick, would it be possible for you to get me the price of a 2011 Dash Panel with Premium Audio and HUD, I'm probably going to just replace my 2010 dash instead

the double image is not the case, I installed the HUD on a Transformers RS last November, very clear

Installed dozens on the C5/6 cars, no problem

Ofer, is there a list of COMPLETED Camaro5's with the HUD upgrade?

Thanks
