18x8 vs 18x8.5 Wheels
Hello,
I am still new to this forum, I haven't been very active despite joining last year. I'm not sure if this is the place to post something like this but here I go: I am thinking about getting rims for my 2019 Camaro 2LT convertible. I like the look of retro steelies such as rallye wheels and for some reason want to get some on my Camaro. I have seen 20-inch ones on 5th gens but I found a set that is 18 inch and match my bolt pattern. The only issue is the rims are 18x8.5 and my stock rims are 18x8. Besides having to order special tires, would I have any issues with rubbing? The wheels I found are made by vision wheels, the 55 Rally Aluminum: https://www.visionwheel.com/wheel/47...m?finishID=101 I'll attach a picture of my car with the augmented reality app I used to visualize the wheels. I would need to get a thin white wall to complete the look. |

The wheels will fit and if your tires are still good you could mount them on your new wheels as well. My 2021 1ls came with 18 x 7.5 wheels and I run stock SS size 20 x 8.5 front and 20 x 9.5 rear wheels without issue.

Thank you! I'll post again here if I do end up going down the route with custom wheels!
