Saw it last night..! Absolutely amazing. Not an academy award winning plot and wasn't expecting it to be. But the story was a big improvement over Revenge of the Fallen. Visually it was off the charts especially with the 3D. Better 3D than other movies because it was filmed that way and not converted after the fact. Great summer movie, really enjoyed it and I'd say it's the best of all 3.

On the upside, it had the most action of the three and they finally managed to make it easy to tell the Transformers apart when they're in robot form. They still need to work on the Decepticons a bit, in that respect. Bumblebee did look awesome, as did all the other vehicles used in the movie, especially the Mercedes they used for Soundwave. Wish he would've talked more, though.

Best part: Optimus finally gets to just friggin' kill Megatron. Been waiting years to see that (it may've happened in some of the post-G1 stuff, but I never saw it). Plus he did it with that bad ass axe.

Downsides: Actors did as best as they could with what they had, especially John Tuturro who always looks like he's having fun. Honestly, the human subplots bored me; when are they gonna learn that we're just there for the robots (and the cars they turn into; and the explosions)?

End drug horribly. Needed more Transformers, less people running from Decepticons. Bad guy was okay and I always love Nimoy's voice, but why do we always need a different bad guy than Megatron?

Rose is nowhere near as hot as Megan (maybe we're also there for a little fan service).

All in all, about a 5.5 or 6 out of 10. Upon reflecting, I think I liked the first one better, but it's hard to say...this may've been the best one, and it was certainly better than 2.

I think the ability to make a 6 yr old laugh his head off is a great quality in a movie - but that quality means Mr Poppers Penguins is a "wait for the DVD" movie...

I just got home from seeing it in IMAX 3D. Can't imagine seeing it in a regular format. Like other comments here, I wish there was more footage on the cars.

The IMAX 3D doesn't give anyone a headache after 2 1/2 hours?
